Trick is to top up a flat battery with 5 min charge. Then the charger and battery will work in unison to crank the engine.

75A wouldn't jump start a diesel , there is more info in the manual.
If your car needs external charging and or jump starting (when it's being used regularly) it's a sure sign the battery or alternator is defective (or a fan belt)
You'd be better off spending the money on fixing the problem :smiley:

or you're just doing lots of short journeys and over time your battery has discharged a little.
it only takes a relatively small drop in power and / or voltage to not be enough to crank the engine over
