Cheapest I have seen this groupset, admittedly only 172.5 cranks and 11-28 cassette but that's what I would go for anyway so all good for me!
£30 gets taken off at the checkout.
Disclaimer:
1 - yes, you could buy a terrible terrible car for this.
2 - yes, you could buy a whole bike for this, but if you are happy with a sub £400 (nothing wrong with it if you are) then this deal isn't for you.
3 - No, it doesn't come with pedals.
4 - £400 for not even a whole bike, am I mad, probably, but not because of this deal!

Surely it is up to people how they choose to spend their money.
I have ultegra 10sp, 11sp Di2 and Dura ace Di2. Why? Because I can and it makes me feel good.
BTW funny how no one bats an eyelid when someone puts up a deal for a £600 phone, but as soon as it's a deal for bikes or bike parts above £50 the trolls and haters come out to play.

Great groupset! Great price too. Wouldn't use in winter though.

This would be great deal if you were trying to smuggle a bike into a prison.

Would be handy if you were part of a chain gang I guess

Could buy a decent mid range bike second hand for this money, also not all £400 cars are terrible.

You could also buy a scooter too but it's not a high quality bicycle chainset either...

if you are looking to buy ultegra you don't want a mid range bike though, that's the point!
can you show me a £400 car (taxed and MOT'd) that isn't terrible then?

Unless you are a competitor where tiny improvements could make the difference between winning and loosing, why would you pay so much for parts for a bike. There has to come a point where it just gets silly. Clearly maybe spending £50 on a good quality part over a £10 might be a good investment if you are a keen cyclist but another £350, is that really going to improve your cycling experience that much. You are getting to the point of diminishing returns.

In the chainset you will receive the crank, front and rear mechs, front and rear STi's, cassette, BB, chain, front and rear brakes. Very high quality components. The STi's alone sell for £150'ish.
Cables too

Your maths doesn't make sense. Your suggesting you could buy an entire groupset for £10? You'd struggle to buy the brake and gear cables for that price, let alone any of the other individual components in this set.

You're trying to talk sense to people who wear team kit to cycle to their desk job lol
This is a good deal though, nothing wrong with wanting premium parts for the sheet pleasure of owning then

This is not a part, this is lots of parts.
By the same logic we'd all be watch 20" 720p TVs and using £50 android tablets. Somethings are worth spending money on, some are not, it depends how much use and enjoyment they'll bring. I cycle a lot, I spend a lot on bikes and parts, I don't watch much TV and so have a very cheap TV most people would hate but it is fine for my needs.

To be fair I bought an 80,000 mile Mazda for £250 maybe a decade ago and it ran for 2 years and it passed the MOT easily with minimal maintenance :stuck_out_tongue: It wasn't terrible at all. Then I sold it for £400 and it was kept on the road another 3 years :stuck_out_tongue:
