i oppose the use of food grade oil to run vehicles, thats not a decent use for food in my view

Latest research (yes, I know it changes all the time) says that Sunflower oil is not good for cooking. Heat changes it chemically producing a substance that is bad for you. This happens to some extent with all oils, but more with sunflower. The recommendation is to use this oil cold, for salads, and cook with rapeseed.

Absolutely, however only if you live in an Olive oil producing country such as Greece / Spain can you afford to use it for frying.
