Cheap for a TV this size, and it is a Sony. No, it isn't curved or 4K, but it has everything else. Apparently genuine reduction of £430. Get another 3.03% off with TopCashback (ends In 4 Days). That's a further discount of £62.
John Lewis list this at £2,299.00, but have no stock, so I don't suppose they will price match.
Not many reviews online, but on Amazon, two reviewers claim the picture quality is superior to a 60" LG Plasma screen.

Let's assume for a moment that you are right - what would we then watch on it? The Currys demo disc?

I don't watch TV that often, but even so, with this I can watch a LOT of TV without spending any more time on it.

Old tech, my Panasonic VT65 65" still blows away 99% of the TVs out there now and it's 1080p.

Good point, and well worth foregoing the TopCashback.

I really don't watch television that much to justify spending £2000 on a set. Sorry. Cold for me.

Yeah that was my concern as well. 75 inches is a a huge step-up in viewable real estate from say a 55 or 60 incher. 1080p may be a bit too much of a stretch at this size.
Still a fantastic deal for a TV which doubles up as a proper projector.

Ooooh, that's a big dilemma for the typical HUKD visitor...

That was probably said to the guy who Stated that a colour TV would be worth buying when all you had most of the time was still Black and white .

Fair point, but I expect most people will have waited for colour to become mainstream (and colour sets to be the right money) before they bought one. I'm not saying that 4K will NEVER be relevant, it just isn't yet.

I am not rich enough to spend £2,000 on a TV every couple of years ..and IMHO I think two years from now there will be much content provided in 4K.
