Had 2 reasons to call out samsung warranty repair- machine flooding out of the powder drawer. turned out both times my kids had posted things in the powder drawer of my washing machine which had blocked pipes.
Was dreading getting a callout bill or a stupid charge for work that was my kids fault but the engineers were first rate and i wasnt charged any extras.

I invested heavily in Samsung when we renovated our kitchen.
Problems I have had:
Washing Machine - New Motor, New Control Panel, New Door Seal.
Oven - New Door, New Door, New Oven.
Hob - New Control Panel, New Main Boards, 2 New Rings, Refund.
4K TV - New Fan.
These are all upper level models, not their entry level stuff.
Every repair or repair attempt requires a day at home waiting.

After my recent experience with Samsung you need a 5 year warranty and plan for it to be expendable after that.
Their CS is poor and outsourced their repair people are poor and outsourced.

at least this is a genuine warranty, unlike the crap hotpoint indesit offer'10 years' parts with a 180 minimum call out charge. if only 1 person doesn't buy this is a worth while post

yes. i rang them regarding this for my condensor dryer. They asked if i wish to go ahead with it. i said having owned one at my parents house I'd rather buy a new one every 5 yrs. or buy parts on eBay and fit them myself

This is really worthy as I have all major appliances from Samsung. They all are good but you never know what can happen to any electronic or electrical item. I have had 2 incidents, one with my TV and other with my fridge freezer. Both were under warranty and even after one & half year of use, Samsung replaced my old fridge freezer with A more expensive higher range model as they could not provide the same model. Customer service was excellent and I don't have to pay anything for repair or call out.

Crap guarantee, I phoned about a problem with my cleaner and they directed me a parts store for me to purchase. I then stated I've a 5yr guarantee and they said no you haven't just the two and I've email evidence!

My first two repairs were very good. They were handled by a UK call centre but since it moved offshore it's been disgraceful.
