I appreciate it's old tech, but might make a good wee media player for someone?

The Browser in this also supports Flash unlike the iPad and Android tablets. Thus if you use illegal sports streaming sites you can get the right HDMI cable and watch it on your telly.
Personally I wouldnt dream of doing such a thing.

Missus uses her G5 with 8gb ram and an ssd in every day, after the upgrades on a machine that cost me £40 (cheese grater metal model). For Photoshop, Indesign etc it's actually pretty quick still. 2x2GHz G5 cpu's plus an ssd (£40) and a pile of DDR which I had laying about anyway it's a really nice machine, yes you're stuck using old versions of software but they work well enough for what she needs if we get a year where she makes a big profit we'll buy something newer to minimise tax liability but for now it just works nicely.
It chugs a little on intense Web pages but less so than a netbook. Wife has always had Macs she's a Graphic Designer/Web Designer from before they were made cool.
Bought a Playbook for elderly neighbour as I thought a bit of Facebook to keep up with family photos and emails etc will be OK

This is an absolute bargain. One option is to buy two, fill the 64GB with kids films, fit to headrests for kids to watch on long journeys, they can watch different films to each other if they want, use headphones. If like me you have a car Mifi as well, browsing internet is an option.

Afraid not, you can sideload android apps on to it but in true Blackberry style it is locked down, secure and not worth the effort.
Had one 2 years ago at £130, great device but not an Android tablet... runs a custom locked down OS - no Cyanogen.
It says pre-owned - 1 month warranty. May be scratches on front and back...

Although under £25 delivered is a good price, they seem to be around this on ebay and at least ebay you can often see the item's condition in the photos, plus ebay give good buyer protection.
