I think the Ambilight version for £100 more sounds like it has a faster processor and only registered 33ms lag.

If in the input lag is that much of a concern then its highly unlikely that you would be using a TV as a monitor. Besides we don't know the "ms" for the 40" version. :smiley:

​my telly is 8ms anything much higher and you'll be struggling, the lowest gaming monitor I've seen is 1 or 2ms.
