Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.
Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

So it's actually good for two things.

There is enough in the main game to justify the price tag. After completion, just cruising around listening to the radio stations and discovering new sights is worth the money... very relaxing :man:
Meh to the online play - just don't care enough. A lot of the on-line games are spoilt by morons, so yeah - not for me.

It's a low price for the game, but the game is also vastly overrated. GTA Online is full of hackers, it's slow as hell, just tedium to try and play. You honestly spend 80% of the time loading/disconnecting/loading/disconnecting/loading than you do playing. Really disappointed by GTA Online. It's a shame, because there is a quite a lot of attention to detail in the single player.

I agree. The idea is great, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Not least, the community is a bit toxic, people going around looking to kill all other players in free roam. Or you can join a server where you can walk through one another, but at that point the freeroam becomes a glorified mode selector.

I think you are very lucky to not get many hackers at all. Or I am very unlucky. No exaggeration, I have joined maybe 3 or 4 online games without hackers, and they didn't last long because of how often GTA Online disconnects.

PC is only good for one thing, single player and the mods. Good luck playing online
