Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.
Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

So it's actually good for two things.

There is enough in the main game to justify the price tag. After completion, just cruising around listening to the radio stations and discovering new sights is worth the money... very relaxing :man:
Meh to the online play - just don't care enough. A lot of the on-line games are spoilt by morons, so yeah - not for me.

It's a low price for the game, but the game is also vastly overrated. GTA Online is full of hackers, it's slow as hell, just tedium to try and play. You honestly spend 80% of the time loading/disconnecting/loading/disconnecting/loading than you do playing. Really disappointed by GTA Online. It's a shame, because there is a quite a lot of attention to detail in the single player.

I agree. The idea is great, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Not least, the community is a bit toxic, people going around looking to kill all other players in free roam. Or you can join a server where you can walk through one another, but at that point the freeroam becomes a glorified mode selector.

I think you are very lucky to not get many hackers at all. Or I am very unlucky. No exaggeration, I have joined maybe 3 or 4 online games without hackers, and they didn't last long because of how often GTA Online disconnects.

PC is only good for one thing, single player and the mods. Good luck playing online

I see everyone slagging off the online play but on release myself and friends spent 300+ hours playing online with no issues. I don't know if you have all over looked this option:
Create an Online friends only server.
Invite friends
Complete Heists
Attempt the Mastermind challenge
Get Money
Get Cars
Took us about 10+ attempts at the Mastermind achievement.
Never heard of this disconnect issue people have mentioned.

The issue is how many people have enough friends to populate a 32 man lobby? It just isn't realistic. Hackers are hit or miss. Some days it's bad, other days they leave you alone, on the good days they just do hilariously dumb crap  I usually just play with a friend or two until the hackers get too much, and play some missions. Missions are good fun with a friend or two, even more so if you find some randoms who are good sports! Definitely worth £20 though even without online.
Rockstar need to sort their **** out. Its just far too easy to hack the game (evident by the fact my friend got a mod menu working and he's an idiot when it comes to that stuff) and they don't seem to bother handing out bans. Funnily the people who get screwed the most are the ones the hackers give money and weapons to in mass amounts, usually tripping Rockstars systems and getting temp bans or money taken away

this is an awesome price for this game, to be fair I think this game is awesome at full rrp, even if its only for single player, the level of detail is incredible, you can find faults, but you have to think of the technical achievement they have done with this. its not a corridor shooter, its not small maps with insane detail, its a whole city + country and suburbs with stupid attention to detail, I've played 100 of hours online with 360 + xbox one, and a little on the pc, but mainly on the 360 as I couldn't hold out for the pc version, sadly unless you have friends playing I feel the online can get a little dull, sadly for me the heists came too late, by the time they were released most of the people I played with had stopped, and its hard to find 4 good people online

WTF! This is what I got:
"Your order has been put on temporary hold by our verification system. You are requested to respond to this ticket or email us directly on [email protected] with a photograph (taken with a smartphone or digital camera) of a valid ID such as a Driving License, Passport or National ID card together with today's date/time and ‘cdkeys.com’ written on a piece of paper."
I definitely am not going to provide such data to some random shops!

I still won't bother with Rockstar Social Club. There are actually Steam keys available elsewhere, but on G2A you're looking at paying about £25. I know that Steam won't remove the RSC DRM layer (rather, add one) but it's the distribution platform I use and having everything on Steam is so convenient for me. Same thing with Uplay, etc. Anyhow, otherwise seems like a pretty good deal, except those affected by that "verification system" as shown above.
