there are plenty of reviews out there for this pj , but i can tell you it is entry level home cinema , not to loud with the fans , pic quality wise if you watch bluray , it would be ok , if you`ve never used pj before a 92 inch screen will blow you away.
But be aware you must think about .... throw ratio .... how to mount the pj ( pj placement ) ..... new leads ..... fixing the screen to the ceiling joists......
It is nothing like just buying a tv.lol .... but on the other hand , good luck buying a 92 led.......

Looks a nice deal to me. I'd be interested to hear opinions on the projector.

This is a very good projector. I have one and was amazed at the quality. Using it on a cheapo 120" screen, but even then it looks great.

Heard this is a great projector, I have the 151x and love it! Much better off projecting onto a wall if you have a spare one to do so though, Some great paint mixes out there to rival £1000 screens!
Have set one of these up for someone in a dedicated room. Great picture quality.
Initially it was projecting onto a quality 120" screen. Had the walls re-skimmed and used some specialised paint and there was a significant increase in picture quality. And that's at around 200".
Either way, wall or screen its a good PJ. Relatively quiet, 3D is good and the ability to project from phones etc is nice too.

Got the hd151x. Yes you can go better with a sim2 etc but at this price with screen included this is a bargain and you will be impress with it. Just watched Serenity on mine and it's a different beast to a tv

I have the HD131x. Great piece of kit for the price. Screen is useful if you don't have a suitable clean wall, but as others have said you can also paint a wall to very good effect.

I have a DLP projector already, but does anybody suffer with seeing that rainbow effect particularly when watching sport. It's driving me insane.

Hopefully the projector is new as you will probably get used to the rainbow. I know it may sound silly but try and relax and just focus on the picture, ignore the rainbow. Also the rainbow is more pronounced from the corner of the eye so make sure you are straight on to screen.
I would say give it time and the rainbows should subside.

Unfortunately some people do suffer this effect more than others and whilst you can 'get used to it' it won't go away. Some PJs suffer from it more than others. That's the main drawback from DLP PJs. It's also difficult to get a demo of a particular unit. Suppose the good thing about Costco is, you can just take it back for a refund.

I do, it drives me nuts! I swear wearing glasses makes it worse. Although weirdly I don't seem to see as much whilst gaming.

try not to look around the screen so much , looking left and then right , greatly increases the effect , takes a bit of getting used to just watching the middle .
This unit uses a 2 speed color wheel so the rbe effect will be more noticable , the 131 uses 3 and the similar priced benqw1070 is better still.
Failing that move on to lcd , i moved from the 131xe go lcd and for me the difference was night and day , no more rbe :stuck_out_tongue:

What distance would be needed for 92", ive had a few PJ's but could only manage 66" :stuck_out_tongue:
Ive got a Hd65 sitting faulty - tried a brand new bulb but its still not switching on, could be ballast? I dunno, I must repair/flog it
