Reduced again. At under £100, this seems like a good deal.
I believe that people are now getting over a day of battery life with recent updates.
To clarify, this is not the new Moto360 2. It is the original from last year.

Not good for watching adult entertainment on.
I found the screen got too shakey.

I'll never get over the fact this provides only a day of battery life

Amazon.fr had a lightening deal for the black metal strap version for £110 delivered. Its now expired but if you prefer the metal strap keep an eye out as they often repeat deals.

This has to go scorching hot. The 360 is great. Classy minimalist styling, you can obviously change the face whenever you like and strap to metal/leather/rubber. Having been using one now for several months I can assure you they aren't a gimmick, and at £100 its a very nice watch by itself. Honestly would wholeheartedly recommend the Moto 360

A watch you have to charge every day, not a gimmick?

+1. I've owned one since May. I wasn't really a watch wearer before, but this adds extra convenience so I wear it all the time. I love the fact that I can text or check if a message is important whilst carrying a load of stuff.
Heat added.

I've had mine for over a year and I don't even notice it. If it was such a bad thing they would have changed it in the 2nd gen.
As for battery, I'm a average to high user and get a day with a good 20% to spare. Only time I struggle is if I do a 10k run using it fully on displaying my pace, that kills it by about 6pm, but pop in on the charger for 10-15 mins and it's got more than enough to go well into the wee hours.
Highly recommend it.

The rectangular Apple Watch is more bezel than watch, so side by side, you might appreciate that smaller bit of tyre.
Maybe that is why the latest Apple ad lingers on the watch for barely 2 seconds.

Not a problem. Many people who have them come with spare tyres anyway.

yeah really "horrid" :/
to be honest i prefer having it that to have a watch without auto ambient light settings which is the alternative.

No, it will fade to dark when it assumes you aren't looking at it.

Limited by battery life and by being first generation.

Very quickly and to a very surprising extent. I was a cynic yet it very quickly integrated into my ecosystem and proved repeatedly useful. Swapped out for a Fitbit though and as I travel I found I kept misplacing the charger.

Does the screen come on when you bring your wrist up to view the watch?

Yes, and it can do wrist gestures, like shake your wrist a certain way and it will scroll down through messages for example

Hot hot hot. I've had mine for 6 months or so and really like it. Yes the screen does turn on when you bring your wrist up to look at it.
