Master Lock 1m x 18mm armoured steel, weather-resistant security cable with disc cylinder lock for extra protection against picking. Vinyl-coated to prevent scratching and rust. Includes 4 keys. 0.66Kg
This has armoured sections covering the inner cable and the sections appear to overlap each other so the cable cannot be easily cut between the sections.
At £3.99, this would be OK to use as a secondary deterrent, in conjunction with a good D-Lock. I purchased it to replace a combination lock with a spiral cable that I always had to struggle to use.

I would love to see a video of you doing this. If you order one and open it with only pliers within three minutes while recording the whole thing I'll give you £20.

Took me three minutes to open one of these with a pair of pliers,
D locks can be opened just as quick with a car jack.
But great deterrent for the price, so voted hot.

All locks are just a deterrent.
If you place the D lock so there isn't room to get a car Jack in the space there much harder to break.

cold for me. may as well tie up whatever it is you are trying to secure with ribbon as any determined thief will be through this like a hot knife through butter.

Rubbish... Excellent price for a decent lock.
Wouldn't trust it with a top of the range bike for long but ideal for me when I need to ride to the local shop on my half decent road bike.

After seeing it, I would have thought it was a bit more robust than ribbon. A determined thief, with the right tools, will get through most types of bike locks pretty quickly, but this is £3.99, which is a bargain, even if it is only as a secondary deterrent. These are about £17 at Homebase, and £26 on Amazon.

how is this cold, find it cheaper out going by your thinking, find a lock that a'determined thief' wouldn't get off. You can't as there is no such lock ya douche!
This is a good deterrent, not the best but it is only £4,to the opportunist thief of which the majority are.
