Not bad at all for a brand new one at the moment, reviews are really good as well. Resolution is 1280 x 800 which in my opinion is adequate for the majority of users at this price point

I really don't understand what people want or expect this price point? You're clearly nuts!
Screen res is fine, I've got handfuls of devices 1366*768, 1080, 720 yada yada and I don't notice the difference between any of them. Think people get swept up in 4k, QHD etc without thinking WHY you need that resolution, also you make the resolution higher everything is going to get smaller, higher resolution on 10" on this tablet would make the desktop on this unusable.
Ive got and had zero problems with the display dpi, resolution etc and as I suffer terribly from migraines that's actually very impressive for me.
You are not going to get high spec, high res tablet for around £100, you just aren't so I don't know why people have to complain so much about it, its quite frankly ridiculous. If you suffer a physical fault that's fair enough but don't moan about low specs on a LOW price tablet.
You want super high res go buy a Surface 4 or iPad and pay accordingly

I put an offer in for one from 3 monkeys it was on buy it now for £129.99 I paid £90 really really pleased with it and yes it had Office 365 with it and there nothing wrong with it whatsoever!
Enjoying the 1tb of Onedrive, Outlook runs perfectly on it too and it's even had the Win10 popup too (not done it yet)
Simply fabulous device all round

Wait for the "1280 x 800 is not enough" brigade.

I have had four or five of these now. Each either came with an annoying screen pressure issue or developed one soon after. I am very careful, so put this down to manufacturing faults. My current one has two quite large white spots which are particularly annoying when scrolling web content. I could not recommend.

I totally agree with you. Two screens of mine went within 3months. Amazing tablet for the money but a let down by the screen issues

Same here. Overall it's only "alright" certainly not amazing. Very capable but definitely feels a bit budget.

I have one of these and very happy with it, however I think it's worth paying the extra £20 for the latest version (Linx 1010)

£20 extra for the exact same spec though...pretty much..

Is the build quality better for the 1010? I bought the Linx10 when it was on offer at Staples months ago, but the touch panel cracked and finding a replacement was a pain in the ****, and then being an idiot I cracked the screen later, and I just couldn't find any information of what the screen model was.

It's not really. You wouldn't be happy with that res on your phone.

My Linx 10 has the white spot issue too. Having said that, I wouldn't want to be without it. The 12 months warranty is nearly up too so I guess I'll have to do something about it soon. Having said that, I only paid £20 for it brand new

Word of warning. 3 of my colleagues and I all got these at the staples flash sale.
We ALL got the screen breaking issue within 6 months. LINX refuses to deal with it saying it was our fault for breaking it and the screen is not covered under warranty
Best they will do is take our units plus 80 quid each and then ship out refurbished replacements. The do not offer repair of any kind.

They are actually in the right for saying that. A warranty and guarantee are two different things, the warranty being optional. It would be Staple's responsibility to sort your problems out as they'd still be under guarantee.
