It is good price for the specs.
From time to time, you will be able to find budget i3 laptop brand new for around £250 here.
It is not a mid range laptop.

Looks OK to me, not sure why it's cold. Looks a reasonable spec for the money. Maybe the much reported Lenovo 'Malware' is putting people off. Shouldn't worry though, you can upgrade the BIOS from the Lenovo website to get rid of any persistent Lenovo 'Malware'. I'd then upgrade to Windows 10 then download the Windows 10 Media from the MS site and do a completely clean install of Windows 10 on the machine. You'll then have a decent machine for the money. OK bit of a faff but, to be honest, I'd do a clean install on any new machine I bought.
