E50 is Professional-Grade Business Laptops, description per Lenovo. So it should be decent build quality. It is a higher model compare to B50 or G50.
I think the price is good for the specs, especially consider it is a business laptop quality.

For those who do not want a lot of storage space or are happy to use an external hard drive for big storage, I would say this is a very good deal with a sturdy looking machine with decent spec for the money. The 3 year warranty for £49 may be worth considering too, as for £308.97 you know you're getting a machine that will last you three years.

The HDD version is available for cheaper.
The link is in the post too.
But I admit that as most of laptops, this one do not have the option to add a 2nd drive.
However, if you do not need the DVD drive, you could buy a caddy for £6 and add a 2nd drive there.
If need both speed and internal storage, you could buy the SSD version of the laptop for £260, a DVD-HDD caddy for £6, a 2TB 2.5 inch hard drive for £50, you will have both speed and storage for £316.

Not quite understand your concern.
From the picture I can tell that it has a track pad and two seperate buttoms for left and right clicks below the trackpad.
If I guess your point correctly, it has split trackpad.

I have one of these and the keyboard is definitely not business quality. Everything else is okay though. Be warned and prepared for much frustration when using the keyboard.

Price is decent so I'll vote hot anyway. Just be warned about those ghastly keys.

Are these used/2nd hand/refurbs?

Should be brand new.
If the good is refurbished, the seller normally put refurbished in the title.
That is why the price is hot. If it is refurbished, I would not post the deal as the price is normal for a refurb.

Second of all, it has a U version i3.
