Matches the very low Amazon currently out of stock price.
~90 left when I ordered a few mins ago.
This is the lowest price I have seen available since I started looking for one a few weeks ago.

That is because there isn't one.

Spoken to Ebuyer, they gave me some cock-and-bull story about they had placed the order for the CPU, but the supplier had cancelled so they cancelled it from my order and refunded me for the CPU. Apparently they're getting 50 in today and I could re-order from there, but I'd be charged 349.99 for the privilege, they wouldn't honour the lower price despite them having already charged me.
I've told them to arrange a courier and to collect all of the parts I have bought from them as part of this purchase and to provide me a full refund, and would encourage everyone else in my position to do the same - this kind of shoddy customer service should definitely not be encouraged. How can they arbitrarily cancel an order when they have already taken payment? Does this mean in the future I can order stuff and then when it arrives cancel payment?
I'm through with Ebuyer - they suck. Avoid like the plague - if the abysmal courier they use (Yodel) isn't enough to dissuade you, do you really want to entrust potentially thousands of pounds to a company this dishonest that tries to scam their customers?

It's the features added to the motherboard that's good

No it's from 2015 and it's a CPU not a chipset!

Should have known the Amazon was a price match. Good find! Is there some reason Amazon struggle to get stock from Intel, it seems to happen a lot with the i5 6600K and i7 6700K, or at least at direct from Amazon/decent price points. At last, a faintly sane price, if you were going the LGA 1151 platform route, anyway.
that is a great price, mine is OC to 4.5 with no problems at all, remember you need a good cooler and a Z170 board if you want to get your moneys worth

I want to find a reason to upgrade to this over 4790k but I cant find it
I've read that stock out the box there is little difference. So I suppose very little reason to upgrade so soon. I think the only reason would be above mentioned future proofing and DDR4.
Bought this yesterday and thought it was a mis-price, like it was intended for the 6700 (not K). Didn't post it here incase it was a mis-price and increased orders led them to getting wise and started to cancel orders. Least I'm not lying
Was startled that it was near £100 cheaper than Amazon (at the time). So happy it puts my new build under the £1500 mark
You know... Watch that and convince yourself *not* to get it.

I always upgrade everytime intel release a new mainstream chip.. this time I really cant see it
if skylake was a good overclocker and could hit 5hz easy I would of had one by now but most struggle to get 4.6 when ive already got the 4790k @ 4.8 its hard to see the point

Unless you need the 4 extra PCI-e lanes, there's no real reason. I think the average clocking 6700k goes to around 4.7 (from what I have seen at least), but I'm pretty happy with my 5820k @ 4625MHz tbh, and at the current rate of progress I see myself keeping this for the next 3-5 years.
