Normally £50 at PC World and Argos but now reduced to £29.99.
There's conflicting reports of whether the 6gb lasts 30 days or 90 days. I suspect it will be 90 days which has a value of about £15. So you're paying £15 for the Mifi which can be unlocked for a quid.
I got this from Amazon on a lightning deal, great little Mifi, especially when coupled with EE's 100gb SIM offers (there's one running at the minute). Can confirm that the original 6gb lasts 90 days.
This seems like the better deal. £10 cheaper, 14GB more data but only valid for 1 month. Unlocked. The only downside I can see is that battery life might be worse.

I now use my FreedomPop SIM in the device as a backup and hotspot for my tablets.

you can easily stream now TV, Amazon prime video, YouTube or ps4 online gaming. But be warned 6gb is not enough for these needs. You need 100gb per month to enjoy it.

Great deal op, many thanks.
Just seen this is eligible for the 500mb/month for 1 year deal launched today, so makes this even better. The T&C are on this page http://shop.ee.co.uk/broadband/4gee-wifi

The T&C don't say anything about having to buy it through the EE shop to be eligible. Also you don't have to topup £10 like with the phones, just register the data sim it comes with.
