I missed out on the banggood deal as its now out of stock. so quick search and managed to find it slighter cheaper. Saying that this is not shipped from inside the EU so you may have to wait.

I got the EU Banggood deal on this (delivered in 3 days from a warehouse in Greenford), and I must say I'm astonished at the value for money with this phone. NOTE: You need to remove a cellophane cover over the battery contacts for the phone to charge/work - I thought I had a DOA unit until I came across a helpful forum member who had mentioned this.
TOP TIP: You can change a host of baked-in settings on the phone, and test the various hardware elements, by accessing the engineering menu - just open the dialler and type *#*#3646633#*#* . Do note you have to know what you're doing with this, you may damage or brick your phone. I used this to increase the max volume over the headphones. For CE certification, Brussels insists on a certain max volume which I find too low on most phones.
Here are my thoughts on the phone so far:
THE GOOD:
-The build, while completely plasticky on the outside, feels surprisingly solid and there's no obvious flex. Joins are smooth, it feels well put together.
- -Runs almost stock Lollipop with very few crappiola baked-in bloatware apps, which can be disabled (e.g. Xender). The installed Lollipop ROM is also a full English ROM, no Chinese lettering anywhere and works perfectly. However I'm so used to running Nova launcher on my phones that I installed it straight away. Running Nova, in real-world use, I cannot tell the difference in speed with my LG G2 which is no slouch. Ran Antutu v5.7.1 after I had installed all my apps and rebooted phone twice - I get around 20,000 which is definitely a mid-range figure. Some reviewers have got over 30,000, not sure how!
- The 720p IPS screen is truly superb. Bold, punchy colours, great viewing angles, VERY bright, good contrast. The brightness sensor works well and I leave it on the auto-brightness setting. Good touch response as well. Really don't see much between this screen and the 1080p screen on the LG G2. Doogee have spent their money where it matters.
-Battery is GOOD, gives me 1.5 days on moderate use. Original Doogee replacements (!!) available on the bay for 7-10 quid delivered. A 1080p screen may not do well on the 2400mAh battery, but 720p appears to be the sweet spot. Thinking of getting a spare battery or two now for later, Chinese vendors aren't known for their product support a few years (or months!) down the line.
-Dual 4G (micro)SIM slots which are dual stand-by. Lollipop has native support for dual SIMs, can select which SIM should be used for voice/data etc. Would be a fantastic utility on holidays.
-The microSD slot is separate from the dual (micro)SIM slots, a nice design feature. Many dual SIM phones have only two slots so one SIM slot needs to be sacrificed to use a microSD card. Works fine with a 64GB Class 10 card, would probably work with a 128GB but I have none to test.
-GSM mobile antennae appear to be more sensitive than those on my LG G2 - I was pleasantly surprised. I now get reception - albeit 1-2 bars - within my office building which is a pretty decent Faraday cage; data slows down to EDGE speed when I'm inside, I had none at all with the LG G2.
-Call quality is excellent through the earphone, there's a single speaker and it's clear without distortion at max volume. Spotify through the headphone port sounds very decent with my Soundmagic E10's, cannot tell the difference against my LG G2 which uses a premium Wolfson DAC and at the time was a favourite amongst audiophiles.
-GPS locks spot on, took about 5 seconds to get an initial fix in my car and Google Maps worked perfectly. GPS does not appear to pick up Russian Glonass satellites, but it doesn't appear to matter and who gives an ass about Glonass anyway! I'm quite impressed by the sensitivity of the GPS on this one - according to GPSTest, I get 10-12 satellites enabling a 3D fix with accuracy to around 10 feet inside my home on a cloudy day. MTK chips appear to have come a long way since their early days when GPS issues were rampant and some phones would not provide a signal accurate enough for in-car navigation.
-No discernible lag. Moves fluidly between screens, between apps and can switch between 3 or 4 tabs on Chrome without lag. Haven't installed any graphics intensive games but I don't game on my phones much. The 2GB of RAM definitely helps, I usually have over 1GB free at most times.
-A full scan with Avast mobile security decreed the phone has no dodgy apps/ security threats. Not sure how reliable this verdict is but is better than nothing.
--Energy sipping Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) works well. Connected to my Android Wear watch first time, connects to the car for music and calls without issues.Good Bluetooth range, hasn't dropped out yet while playing music or calling.
THE BAD
-The plastic body and screen protector are fingerprint/oil magnets, definitely no oleophobic coating here!
-Uninspiring design, resembles a brick but is a perfectly pocketable size. Very plasticky all around and you do feel it, it's one of those phones that doesn't even pretend to be made of metal. Quite slippery in the hand. There are custom cases for this on BangGood. The placement of the power button, on the middle of the right edge of the phone, is actually quite ergonomic for right-handed users.
-The camera - The main camera is 5MP, acceptable in daylight, however colours are muted/ lower saturation than I see from the LG G2 camera. Sharpness could be better. Obviously cannot compare to a flagship camera but it is usable under good lighting and not the blurry, washed out mess some cheap Chinese phones are saddled with. There's significant noise in low light, though the flash does help a bit. The camera app is standard Lollipop. Am impressed by the speed of the camera. There's also a 2MP selfie camera which is adequate for purpose, nothing more. I wouldn't buy this phone if a good camera was a priority. This is the Achilles' heel of most cheap phones.
-Removing the case to insert a micro SD card requires a little patience as you could end up damaging the tabs that hold it to the frame otherwise. Once you get the hang of it it's fine. You obviously don't need to do this often. Had the same problem with my LG G2, in fact that was harder to prise apart.
-Both the microUSB port and headphone ports are located at the top of the device. This position doesn't feel natural, and charging in the car can be awkward with a cable sticking out from the top of the phone. Not a big issue though, you get used to it.
- No 5GHz wifi band, but I don't really see much of a difference in speed with 2GHz. Netflix works perfectly on both 2GHz wifi and 4G
-The three capacitive buttons on the bottom of the phone have no backlighting, but you get used to their positions.
-Had to download some Google Apps but all work perfectly including YouTube, Photos, Gmail etc
-The NatWest banking app refuses to run, not sure if it's rooted out of the box but not too bothered for now. All other apps including the mainstream ones work perfectly e.g. Netflix, Spotify, Viber, WhatsApp, Skye, Flipboard, Outlook, TuneIn, Pocketcast etc.
- Product support - Neither BangGood nor Doogee has a support network in the UK or EU. There was a label on the box stating that the product cannot be returned to their warehouse in Greenford. If it breaks down, I'll have to bite the bullet and keep it as the shipping costs to China will probably be close to what I paid for the phone.
--There was a 2-pin white charger included in the box, however this had an ominous label 'Not to be used in the UK'!!. Not sure why as it was rated 100-240V. Being fairly wary of cheapo chargers in general, I tested my Samsung and Nook 2A chargers and both worked perfectly.
For 50 quid I'm over the moon. Don't miss my LG G2 at all except for the camera. I was planning to keep this for emergencies and holidays but have been using it as my main phone. Truly a magnificent phone for this price point.
You can buy 12 of these for the price of an iPhone 6S, now isn't that incredible.

No problems at all. I really do wish people would comment on or compare like for like when they post their feedback - I know they're trying to be helpful, but getting models mixed up does not help matters. I've seen it a number of times where comments have been made on the X5 when the product being talked about is the X5 Pro.
This is the first time I've bought a smartphone from a distributor in China (BangGood) and there were many people saying that they were happy with their phones and some complained about the build quality of the mobiles (such as the plastic case on the back). At just under £50 each for the X5 Pro, the new owners of the mobiles are very happy with their phones and they're a massive step up from the Samsung mobiles they had before. They like the screen size and resolution, the Android installation isn't full of useless (or Chinese apps, as reported with other phone models from China) apps.
For a sub-£50 smartphone, I'm amazed at what you get for your money. I'm also pleased that updates are coming through to fix any bugs and that's something that buyers of other brands of smartphones have complained about and brought to light. In this instance Doogee seem to be on the ball - for how long, I don't know.
Don't expect much from the cameras in the X5 Pro, but they haven't been bought for that particular feature and it's a common niggle with cheap smartphones. The camera is still better than the one in the Samsung phones that were used before.
The new owners of the X5 Pro mobiles were going to renew their 24-month contracts with Three and get a new phone, but I thought the mobile they would get (another Samsung) didn't look as good as the X5 Pro and the screen was smaller and when testing in the shop ran slow and was a little unresponsive. So, I bought a black and white X5 Pro for them and put them onto a SIM only contract in which they will save money compared to renewing their phone contract over a two year term.
Even if the phones only last a year (I expect them to last longer than that), buying them and going onto a SIM only contract has worked out a much better and cheaper option.
EDIT
I placed a pre-order for the two Doogee X5 Pro mobiles on BangGood on the 14th October 2015. They were in stock before the predicted date and were delivered on the 26th October 2015. When the phones arrived and the users were happy with them, I also placed an order for two cases from BangGood and I'm still waiting for delivery for those items.
The sub-£50 price reference to the X5 Pro was achieved with a 10% off code when bought through the BangGood app. However, there's currently a 6% off code for BangGood (banner at the top of their website) and you may be able to get cashback through Quidco or TopCashback which could bring it into the sub-£50 bracket. On the subject of cashback, other items bought from BangGood by going through TopCashback have had quick payouts - much quicker than many of the other companies listed on TopCashback.
