saw this set in store a few days ago and chatted to the LG expert it does have Web os2.0 and a PMI rating of 1000hz picture quality seems good too. tempting set just the legs are an issue for me (too wide to fit on my current tv stand)

Think I'm gonna hold out until after xmas, some cracking deals around so should be better come Jan?!

This or a Sony variant...? I'd like a high refresh rate, but low input lag. It seems impossible to tick all the boxes without going nearer £1k or ending up with a Vestel. This seems very good though :smiley:. Looking at upgrading from a Samsung LE40C530F1W, so this may well fit the bill nicely. Heat

Do not buy anything from Currys, shocking customer service! My 55inch TV developed a fault after 2 weeks from new, they are refusing to exchange or refund even though it is their policy. You have been warned!!!

that is exactly the samsung that I had for 5 years. upgraded to lg 47lb630v and, while it ia good, these specs look better

Agree re the warranty another thing that would put me off from curry's. I don't quite understand the LG numbering here they have 4 sets all very similar and the spec is like a roller-coaster...

The differences are some are smart, some aren't, some have the ribbon stand, some don't, some come with the magic remote, others don't.
But they are all based on the same chassis.
