I don't think this is such a good deal - I am expecting to see better prices on better TVs this week.
You can already get 770 model for £610 with better OS, 1500 PSI and new upscaling processor - Don't be fooled fellow Dealers! ( It also have only 2 HDMI ports... I need at least 3  )

Decent deal but don't be fooled buy the £450 off, the much higher spec 850 models are sub £800.

Agree re the warranty another thing that would put me off from curry's. I don't quite understand the LG numbering here they have 4 sets all very similar and the spec is like a roller-coaster...

does anyone know why the PMI goes up and down on these and why there are so many in this bracket?

The differences are some are smart, some aren't, some have the ribbon stand, some don't, some come with the magic remote, others don't.
But they are all based on the same chassis.

Do not buy anything from Currys, shocking customer service! My 55inch TV developed a fault after 2 weeks from new, they are refusing to exchange or refund even though it is their policy. You have been warned!!!

Take them to the small claims court then. Or contact head office. It will be one plonker not the entire chain.

that is exactly the samsung that I had for 5 years. upgraded to lg 47lb630v and, while it ia good, these specs look better

This or a Sony variant...? I'd like a high refresh rate, but low input lag. It seems impossible to tick all the boxes without going nearer £1k or ending up with a Vestel. This seems very good though . Looking at upgrading from a Samsung LE40C530F1W, so this may well fit the bill nicely. Heat

saw this set in store a few days ago and chatted to the LG expert it does have Web os2.0 and a PMI rating of 1000hz picture quality seems good too. tempting set just the legs are an issue for me (too wide to fit on my current tv stand)
