Tassimo's intelligent Barcode technology scans the barcode on Tassimo T DISCs to register brewing time, temperature and the amount of water required for each beverage.
The Tassimo Vivy is completely automatic, so all you have to do is slip in a disc, press the operation button and sit back and relax while your drink is prepared to perfection.
You can enjoy a huge selection of T DISCs available online and in some coffee shops. There are over 35 varieties including a range of Costa coffees and others such as Kenco Medium Roast Coffee and Caffe Crema, Twinings Breakfast Tea and Chai Latte, Cadbury Hot Chocolate and more.
Small but perfectly formed

One thing to be aware of is Tassimo have changed the recipe of the drinks that have milk. The milk pods used to be twice as big and contain liquid milk. The new milk pods are half size and contain powdered milk and according to Tassimo own website, and their Facebook page the new milks are terrible. So if you like lattes or macchiatos or any drinks that come with milk pods I would stay away from Tassimo.
I have just bought 20 boxes (160 drinks) of the Vanilla Latte with the liquid milk to stock up on the nice ones!

I have a different model to this, but unlike the bread maker it's used several times a day. As well as coffee the Tassimo Twinings tea is lovely and the kids love the chocolate. It's in constant use and I think we'd be lost without it.

its one of these things you use solid for a couple of weeks then put it in the cupboard and never use again. Next to the bread maker.

Any good? Better than those nespresso machines?

They're okay, but not for me. Nespresso machines only make espresso then you add your own milk. Nespresso makes far better coffee.
Still a good deal though.

... unfortunately, have to agree, with one BIG exception - the new type Cadbury's Hot Choc is now finally less messy & easier to make (i.e. no breaking into choc pod to scoop out the gloopy syrup) and every one I know, loves it better than ever before :stuck_out_tongue:

I use mine daily, the milk has changed but if you are anything like me I always add my own fresh milk anyway so non issue. the Kenco Americano Smooth from sainsburys currently 3 pounds is my fave.

Still a good deal though.
It's good as it makes the drink entirely and is self cleaning.
