Tassimo Vivy coffee machine reduced from £100 (like anyone would pay that!) to £17.50. I doubled up £10 worth of nectar points and then asked at the till for the remaining £2.50 to be donated to charity.
The machine also comes with £20 worth of vouchers to spend on the pods. They are two individual £10 vouchers off a minimum spend of £25.
Obviously coffee machines are always dirt cheap with the pods being the expense however I thought this was worth a purchase for just £10!

just been on a chase around nottingham stores- snap decision as good for Xmas presents.
went to beeston sainsburys- one left no price tag. checked at till, 17.50. Bingo.
wanted one more so tried arnold, basford, on the shelf 17.50 but none left.
final try at Castle marina nottingham. 6 on the shelf but priced at 75 quid. price checked at till but still 75. Thought I would chance it at customer services, showed them the receipt etc etc but the store manager was having none of it saying they were different machines and although the box was identical the machine was different. interestingly she also said she had scanned the system and couldnt find any in stock nationally (not sure about this, think she wanted rid of us).
have noticed there are two different model numbers for sale- the 17.50 one is the TAS1252GB and the other model (which has been posted on another deal) is TAS1202GB. big sticker on the box so worth checking first.
Might help someone if they go out searching!
and that concludes my life story of the last couple of hours...Sorry!

Gathering dust in my kitchen this. Pods even at their cheapest will work out at around 20p a cup..

Definitely not. At that price It's ok for teas and hot chocolates though.

I would definitely recommend it over a filter machine -bean to cup is much better but also much more expensive. Not bad over all and I'm a coffee fiend!

Definitely better than filter, but bean to cup at 10-20+ times the price is obviously going to be better. Nowt wrong with Tassimos though, decent coffee (and tea, hot choc) in around a minute. Can't really go wrong at that price

I'd definitely recommend them, yeah the pods are considered expensive but we love ours. It's in a different league to a filter machine we gave ours to charity as soon as we bought our tassimo.

If you had to go for a 'pod' machine and 'pods', what would be the best option?
