Google are scared of Microsoft gaining a foothold so are doing all they can to stop it; suing everyone who tries to provide compatible apps. But the phone natively supports gmail, Here maps (or Microsoft maps in Win10 mobile) are miles better than Google maps anyway, OneDrive is better than Google drive and who in their right mind would use the rubbish Google docs when you get a proper MS Office thrown in? I threw away my iPhone 3 years ago for a Windows phone and have never regretted it for a moment.

Good price for the phone but the lack of apps in the Windows app store puts me off. Not voted either way.

I switched to Windows phone a few months ago, and all of the apps I use/need are available on Windows phone ... as well as about 300 000 other apps.
App compatibility should be even better when Win10 phone comes out (next month).

I wish Google would support WinPho. I am invested in their ecosystem, but would like a modicum of freedom of choice.

I bought this in grey for this price back in September when posted here, and I can honestly say I don't regret switching from Android at all. It's a far smoother user experience, everything just works without the constant Android lag whenever you attempt any action. Yes, a few Android apps are missing, but I can live without them, as all the more important ones are available and work better than on Android. Wish I'd switched a long time ago... :innocent:
