It's 48", it's 4k, it's got a three year warranty.
What do you want for £299.99?

Wow. I'm only in my 20s and I'm amazed at at how TVs have advanced to reach 4K. I remember playing on my SNES on a 20" CRT TV and it was one of the greatest things ever! But here we are and people are complaining about a 4K TV for less than £300... What an unappreciative (or spoilt?) generation.

Not likely.
HDMI 1.4 so you can play 4K on PC but only 30Hz
4K so useless for consoles.

for sheer size and cost this is a steal.....recognised brand name?....hmmmmmmmmmm  still heated up and thanks for posting
Please can you provide a link? I did try Google but I couldn't find any reviews for this particular TV, only the 55 and 65 inch (superseded?) models sold in the USA earlier in the year. They appear to have a very thick bezel compared to this model.

Aldi don`t want headaches, they (with Lidl) control 10% of shopping market currently, & it`ll increase. Aldi sell Seiki ( :disappointed: ) successfully ( ) so I`m sure these German future giants will do the same with their unknown brand TVs. Heat.

That's a 50" model not a 48".

Wrong model (superseded, look at the bezel size).

It is very clear that all the reviews are given by a single person! So, I would not consider such reviews fair for the time being!
