It is 1080p with 1 ms refresh rate. I would say this would be pretty awesome for gaming. It is IPS, so better imaging, but technically not quite as good as TN TFT, but you wont really notice a difference unless you are crazily picky (considering you are asking this question in the first place I presume not).

Is a 3 year warranty from ebuyer any use? They're often mentioned as liking to play around the edges of their responsibilities to their customers.

Dunno to be honest. It's not applicable in this case though. It's a manufacturers warranty.

The 3 year warranty is with AOC. Anything beyond a year certainly and usually 30 days will be with the manufacturer.
