Found this Asda Kilmarnock tonight, no idea if its national but it has a proper label and not a whoops sticker
Two types of Anchor cheddar - Extra Mature and Lighter Mature both down to £1 for 350g pack - both dated 3rd Jan 16, so not a bad date for such a low price, had plenty of both on the end of an aisle and in the cheese aisle itself

seen this at this price before, prob a relative short use by date but if anything like my house is doesn't last that long anyway!
