Yeah 2GB versions of these cards are a waste as it's being held back, same with GTX 960 2GB models. I had R9 285 2GB card for a while it was being crippled by lack of VRAM on newer titles. The R9 380 4GB is the card it should have been
Anyone know if this would be good for 2560 x 1080 resolution for gaming? Can't seem to find much on this card at that resolution.

Not really u kinda need a R9 390 or GTX 970 as a min but at that resolution the higher the card you get the better!

It's the higher new titles that need 4gb of VRAM like batman, Gta (although that can easily use more), COD etc older games would be ok

I don't like XFX after having an R9 290 that broke after 6 months with no over clocking despite having 5 case fans installed and all running to a good level as heat increases! Also their support sucks and I'm stuck waiting for flubit to tell me what they are going to do with it now they have had it back! Lesson learnt by me is buy through Amazon and go for a good brand like MSI however this does seem to be a good price and mine could have just been a dodgy... Once bitten twice she
