Hot from me because of price but I only buy and fit double pole for extra piece of mind.

Great price for a great bit of British design.
Single Pole (as in this deal) switches just Live, whereas Double Pole switches Live and Neutral- so there's an additional safety feature on DP sockets. This is in conjunction with the numerous other safety features already part of the British plug design. Plenty of info on t'interwebs.

Personally go with double pole switching these days. I also got a box of cheap screwfix select sockets a few years back, I binned 2 out of 10 as they caused repeated nuisance tripping of RCD. New sockets fixed problem, sometimes worth paying a little more for a known brand.

I bought one of these in a previous deal and it kept tripping the breaker. Fitted a DP skt solved the problem.

Good price but again the same as above and normally go double pole. These from Toolstation is what I normally go for.

I would never buy any sockets, and plug (tops) other than MK . They are simply better made.
