"0% for 36 months on balance transfers, with a fee of 2.39%
Move a balance from another credit or store card and get 36 months at 0% to pay it of"
You are definitely new in this game if you compare your virgin CC with this ...
Say you have £10,000 balance to transfer, it will cost you £239.00 with Virgin CC while this one cost you
£0.

The irony is that I bought 26 litres of Sherry with one, it was an accident I told myself.

Yes I did but got 6 bottles of wine free for transferring £500 so I did pay £11 but got the wine for free win win oh and it was Hardys Nottagehill 14% cheapest price Asda £5 most places about £8 a bottle 6 x £5 = £30 I paid £11. so I think I got the better deal by far!
Just noticed you have to transfer £1000 now but that's still better unless you don't drink wine

I love it. People are in debt so they introduce a credit card that allows you to stay in debt and then give you alcohol as a reward. And people wonder why we had a financial crisis!

A good deal if you get a high enough credit limit. Best deal I ever got was from an MBNA card who gave me a £14k limit (those crazy times before the credit crunch) and a max fee of £75. Put 95% of my credit limit into my offset mortgage for a year, saved quite a bit!
