Would be all over this if Game let me use the store credit I've built up in their online store.
A really irritating policy.

Actually I know a trick where you can use your gift card credit (you get from in-store via trade-ins etc) online. I've been doing this for a while.
You basically order anything that adds up the value of the product MINUS £1 (this is important - otherwise the e-voucher won't work). Then you immediately cancel the order and within 10 minutes you will be sent an e-voucher which can be used for pre-orders.
For example, this is how I pre-ordered Tomb Raider just now.
I ordered 2x pokemon rumble at £16.99 each. This totals around £34.
I immediately cancel the order via the order screen. I wait 10 minutes for the e-vouchers.
Once you get your vouchers, you use them to pre-order Tomb Raider. You then need to pay £1 either by reward points or debit card. It can't be a gift card.
Thats it.

You can if you order in-store from online I believe. Hoping they still do this.

The reason for this is they are two completely separate companies. So this bizarrely means they don't have any connection with basic things such as pricing.
For example a while ago I was after a copy of project cars, £39.99 on the website but when I went to store it was £45.99! Wouldn't price match their own website either. Game are a joke.

Looks like it'll be time to dust off the Xbone, not getting a lot of use as I prefer to buy multi-platform games for the PS4.
