Quidco have recently upped cashback making this quite a tasty deal especially for those who are with sky and got the recent price increase letter.
12 Months x £16.99 = 203.88
1 x Internet Router = £6.95
1 x Plusnet £50 Cashback = -£50.00
1 x Quidco £70 Cashback = -£70.00
Total = £90.83

Well I've been with sky for 4 months already had £90 quidco and £100 ms voucher . But because of the increase with sky I can leave with no penalty so I've gone for this deal .

They were also doing 40Mbps fttc free for 6 months & Topcashback too recently, I jumped ship from BT to plusnet certainly don't have any complaints (yet)

Bt own plusnet, but luckily they don't run it, or have foreign call centres, I've been with them for years, but new customers still get the best deals, and that really annoys me

Yes, but you don't get the £50 cashback from plusnet, also the broadband is £2.50 not free, the offer must've been changed
try going through quidco & you'll see, you have to put your bank details in to proceed

Got the letter from Sky today. Will look at moving to PlusNet as was happy with them a few years back.
99p a month for Caller ID but still way cheaper than Sky overall.

I was thinking of doing the same, how much notice do you have to give and when can you take this one out? Thanks

Argh, I switched to BT today. Presumably could cancel on distance selling regs?
Effective cost with BT is £16ish for fiber. Not sure I'd want to trade that for ADSL but then £4.24 is ridiculous. Hmm.

when does it activate/install/start? That's when you can usually cancel up until.

Last year i moved from Sky to BT 76mb fibre with the £125 sainsburys voucher. Went via TCB ( £110 ) however it never tracked so i phoned up BT and said i am staying with sky. BT offered me 76mb fibre for £14.41 a month so i confirmed with them i would still get the sainsburys voucher and they said yes. So i took the deal and then TCB came through with the £110 cashback, think in the end i ended up paying about £7-8 for line rental and 76mb a month:)
So moral of the story give them a ring they may offer you better deal, if not you can still cancel as you have 14 days from when you ordered i believe
ps if you do get a better deal offered over the phone record the phone call and get in it writing via email
