"In its own right, it's a good value set that flies the flag for 4K, offering a fine picture and good stack of features with it. In our minds, that's £700 well spent." 'What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision magazine'. 5-star review. Tested at £700

A decent 4K TV with good colours/contrast, not made by Vestel and one of the few sets that will have FreeviewPlay (Freeview on demand) as only Panasonic TVs (680b and above) have FreeviewPlay.

You just can't help yourself can you?
Mate, you've repeatedly said you wouldn't buy a 4k TV so why do you constantly feel the need to comment on every single thread for one?
Move along, there's nothing here for you to see....

Absolutely nothing wrong about LG TV:s or their panels either!!
LG dominate the 42-50" market in panel distribution and manufacturer.
Oh and ITV2/3 look terrible on just about any decent sized screen anyway...

Not made by Vestel as noted in OP and others have pointed out. Don't be so quick to jump on made by Vestel bandwagon on TV deals.

BTW Vestel has also signed up to offer FreeviewPlay.
Demo unit in local Costco, it looks stunning. Would like to buy for PS4 setup just too lazy to drive 40mins to local Richer Sounds store!

Sounds like a waste for PS4 use :stuck_out_tongue:

As both the above reviews suggest, prepare to be up close and personal with the tv, you will need to be at this size.

I have the 50" version of this.
Picture is bad/awful on channels like ITV3/4
Picture is good on channels like ITV
Picture very good on HD channels
Picture is absolutely stunning on BR and Netflix 4k/Youtube 4k and xbox one
This panel is not made by Vestel although why people see that as a big issue is beyond me. Panasonic's flagship 4k OLED is made by LG but that hasn't stopped AVF giving it 10/10 reference status. Its not all about the manufacturer of the panel!!!!
I would highly recommend this TV and I say that as someone who has made the jump across from Panasonic plasmas.

You're mistaking being made by vestel and using a display from LG.

They have a point, relevant to the deal. What's the problem.
