Do you know if all Panasonic's made by Vestel now or is it just the entry models? I was considering the TX55CX680.
Edit: Just found the answer only the CX400 CR430 C300 are made by Vestel.

Someone posted this yesterday, they mistakenly thought this was a review site and completely slated it saying they've just replaced it with a Sony lol.
Yeah, its a Vestel - not better quality than a Supermarket own brand.

The lower 300 and 400 models are AFAIK, however some argue the Vestel made Panasonic will still be better than other not brands as the Pan will have access to better proprietary picture processing software. At the end of the day if it looks good...

Vestel Panasonic's will be no different to a supermarket own brand, they'll share the same chassis, components, panel etc and wont be made to a higher standard. The only notable difference on the 4K Vestel Pannys that I've noticed is they've made the menu look like an older Panasonic menu system.
Its slightly convincing but the fonts are all Vestel, the graphics are blurry and look cheap (its basically an overlay) and the three step (low/medium/high) backlight adjustment is a dead giveaway.

Looks like all cheaper end TV's are made by Vestel and the numerous Chinese brands. There is not enough profit to be made in the low end of the market for the big names. The higher end stuff is where the investment in new technology is i.e. big name brands.
As soon as a Panasonic is posted someone always pops up to say 'Vestel' without knowing if it is true or not. Won't be long before Vestel are producing TV's everyone wants.
Who would have bought a Samsung TV 15 years ago? Many of the Chinese brands sell more TV's in China than many manufacturers sell in the world.

I came looking for a Vestel comment and I wasn't disappointed.
It seems a stupid decision to only make half your TV's and still infer that they're ALL made by you. People slagging them off when it's discovered to not be the case only hurts the brand, surely.
