Uncomprimising 4k picture quality is yours with this 4k ultra HD LED TV featuring an HDMI 2.0 terminal. With everyfilm or programme, you'll marvel at the deep blacks, bright whites and vivid colours in all their full glory.
4K UHD TV's* can deliver up to four times a smuch resolution as full HD TVs.As you would expect, this means you can see far more detail and texture in 4K UHD pictures, but colours also look more natural, objects look more solid and almost three dimensional, and the extra detail creates a greater sense of depth. Many describe the 4k effect as feeling more like looking through a window than watching a screen. Espectially when all that extra resolution is backed up by the wealth of high end picture wuality features Panasonic brings to its 2015 4K UHD TVs.

It's a damn sad day when even Panasonic
are investing in Vestel's superior Technical
and build skills to bring us sets like this.

I agree, that's why it is sad.

Why is it sad? That's business and market forces for you. Just because Panasonic were once a top manufacturer doesn't mean they always will be.
Heat for the price - probably okay for a (big) bedroom but would not be confident to replace my living room top of the rangeTosh Regza TV

It's a bit worrying when they have more than 10 refurbished TV's available considering these have not been on the market that long.

People seem to be so obsessed with brands they don't stop to research (maybe they don't care about picture quality). I recently installed a 65" curved Sony 4K for a customer with no 4K source, they didn't want the 4K sticker removed.

What's that got to do with the OP?

That's the exact kind of trust a brand is supposed to instil. So you can just buy a TV from Panasonic and know you're getting a decent, quality set. That's how it's supposed to work anyway... That's how it should work!
I don't think it's widely known to check into the actual manufacturer of your TV set. I rarely buy anything without doing my research, but this site is the only one I've ever seen mention Vestel tbh so I don't think it's fair to call out people for "not doing their research". Going to trustedreviews or similar, I've never seen them say "but make sure to check it's not a Vestel model!!"

Haha. You're just butt hurt as you wanted it to stick on your tv instead. No you are right. People actually don't care and honestly couldn't tell if it slapped them in the face.

I had one for a few weeks and I had to return it.
It switched itself off at least 4 times a day and now and then the picture would disappear and loud static nois came through.
I had enough and bought a LG 4K 49" which is far superior.

I completely believe you.
Just returned a refurbished 50 inch panasonic to Amazon today as it kept changing channels (AV 1 to Hdmi hdmi 2 etc) absolute nightmare.
This TV is tempting but I've gone for a brand new 2015 model 50inch LG TV. Hope it doesn't dissapoint.

Good price but gut instinct is 'leave it...'
