I've also got the home bargains ones. These are much brighter, but the beam angle isn't as wide. Not a problem if you've got a fitting that has more than 3 bulbs imo

Good price but on the efficiency scale they are more than 40 ish % worst than the Screwfix LAP offerings of 5W 346lm.
I am still going to go hunt them down as we have a local store and pick up a load for spares.

Agreed. I'd be interested to hook these up to a power meter to see. I did have some 3W bulbs a few years ago that actually consumed 4.5W when measured.

I've seen it mentioned a few times now that LAP bulbs have a high failure rate.

I recently replaced mine with 12W LEDs and they is the only ones I have found with the same kind of light output as a 50W Halogen. I have umpteen lower wattage that just simply dont cut the mustard.
