Also a fan of the Home Bargain LED GU10's we use over a dozen here at home. They've just re-designed them, they look slightly different internally but light output and color temperature is identical to the older version.
We also have a couple of these Osrams, they're good but I'm not a fan of plastic/resin GU10's in general. They seem to run really hot, the same goes for the 12v Osram lamps we use. Prefer glass bulbs as ceramic and glass tends not to catch fire if the lamp fails catastrophically.

Not really. It doesn't say 25 year warranty at all. Just it "should last" 25 years.

If people are interested in these they are only on sale for another week. They are part of star buys. So once they're gone they're gone

Yes and those asterisks mean read the small print, which means they do not have a 25 year warranty.

Good price but on the efficiency scale they are more than 40 ish % worst than the Screwfix LAP offerings of 5W 346lm.
I am still going to go hunt them down as we have a local store and pick up a load for spares.

Agreed. I'd be interested to hook these up to a power meter to see. I did have some 3W bulbs a few years ago that actually consumed 4.5W when measured.

I've seen it mentioned a few times now that LAP bulbs have a high failure rate.

I recently replaced mine with 12W LEDs and they is the only ones I have found with the same kind of light output as a 50W Halogen. I have umpteen lower wattage that just simply dont cut the mustard.

This is a great price for named GU10.
I buy the ones from Home Bargains
which have just dropped to the same
price. I shall look out for these. Hot

I've also got the home bargains ones. These are much brighter, but the beam angle isn't as wide. Not a problem if you've got a fitting that has more than 3 bulbs imo
