I'm thinking the same thing. This could be the way to go. Go basic on Sky and then get one of these little boxes.
Now try cancelling Sky?!!! Did you get one of these boxes yet?

May just be my bad luck, but I have placed orders for 2 items from shopto.net, 18 months apart and received neither of them. One was a few weeks ago when they ran this particular deal before. I did receive refunds on both so not a big issue, but thought I should mention it, just in case anyone else has had similar issues

Managed to get.a couple more from Shop To. Don't know what to do with the boxes seems a shame to throw them away, got four already.

You can trade them in at CEX and other places.
I just want one of the boxes, actually, for iPlayer etc; sick to death of the slowness of the bloody useless TalkTalk YouView box!

Dumb question alert. I tried googling and it isn't exactly clear. Do I need to connect to an aerial for the tv part, or does it come via wifi?
