You can propose this offer on bespoke offers to get the price to around £290 from their merchant.
Compared with similar phones like the nexus 5x it does not have a fingerprint sensor but has a removable battery, sd card slot, QHD screen, fast charging and optionnal wireless charging.

I came from Note 2 to G4. Compared with the Note its not as good but then I could easily get 2 days out of that, weaker phone with bigger battery.
G4 has mixed reviews in my opinion because from my experience some apps can be pretty draining on it. Medium use I can get maybe 1.5 days on battery whereas start filming or playing a graphic intense game and I'll find I need to charge by end of day (prob about 14-15 hours drained)
Having said that I'm not one who reaches for Facebook or twitter every 2 minutes I'm sure there will be people capable of sapping the battery quicker but beauty is to just buy another battery...no need for bulky battery cover or battery pack with me. In fact I have no case at all as the leather back is pretty nice in the hand in terms of grip and durability.
The good news is though you don't need to disable anything. I'm running my phone as it came out of the box - unlike the Samsung where I had to root it to remove all the bloatware...
For this price its a bargain. I've yet to see a camera on another phone take better pictures (again of course this is my opinion) but I know iPhone 6S users who agree.

Only £262 if you use code "JBUY599". Also 2% Quidco.
TrustPilot reviews for the retailer are mixed, but more positive than negative. 9.1/10 from over a thousand reviews on TrustPilot.
They handle the import process and any VAT/duty to pay. See section 16 of their T's & C's.
A lot of the reviews state that the item arrived with a UK plug too, which is not so suprising since Hong Kong use UK plugs and that's where the items are being posted from.
Most reviews state around 5 days for delivery, give or take.
UK 4G Network frequencies all look compatible here.

Just rooted LG G2 and installed 5.1.1 XenonHD rom. It feels just as fast as G4 my wife got...
Thus I have reached to a conclusion I ain't upgrading to another hardware until my handset is fried/lost/stolen.
Before you say anything I'll leave a comment to self - "Cool story bro" :-)

Am I right in thinking the G4 is physically slightly bigger then the G3. I remember the G3 has very high screen to body ratio

I hesitated with the OP2 but when I saw that I could get the G4 in a few days instead of a month, and that the G4 has NFC and quick charging unlike the OP2, I took the G4. Plus LG annonced that it will update their phones to android 6.0 so it was a bonus.

Any users care to offer opinions on real world battery life? I'm reading a mixed bag in reviews, but i personally hate the battery life on my S6, having to disable all the key features to eek out an extra hour or two isn't great, particularly when they are features that drew me to the phone in the first place! :disappointed:

You are looking at about 4 hours screen on time on average
Having got one on Monday, today my g4 got its first real road test. It went from 100% when i got up at 6am to 15% when i got home at 6pm, this was after about 1 hours use of gps and google maps, about 3-4 hours of music, podcasts, facebook and some youtube on the train, then a full days worth of periodically responding to texts, emails, facebook and skype. 4g on, set to 50% brightness , syncing all my accounts every 15 minutes all day.
Overall after coming from a nexus 4 that can usually last about 4 hours doing the same things, im happy.

It definitely has better battery life than the s6 but it's not the longest lasting out there. But that's the beauty of a removable battery! You can buy a spare battery with a charger for fairly cheap. The battery life is such that I'd imagine that you'd get a day of normal use, but for those days where you use it more, just swap the battery and you're good to go!
Opening post
I've already ordered one today.
Here are the specs of the phone
