Good price but worry these are bright enough. I bought the 6 x 5W lamps from Wickes for £14.94 and that are great. Voted hot anyway.

Stupa. 4w 250lm is too dim and you need at least 5w with 300+ lumen for good lighting in the home.

lol you dont, all depends on set-up, location, how many light fittings you have in a room..... these are definitely super keenly priced at under £2 a bulb!

Got 6 for £5 in the asda clearance, 6w 380 lumens - nice and bright - to replace the (claimed 250 odd lumen) fleabay ones which were pants. Save your money

I bought 6 of these for the same price a couple of months ago, work spot on as replacement spots in our kitchen.

I have these in my hall, landing and my sons bedroom and can confirm they are plenty bright enough, and nice and yellow.
Super bulbs, and no issues in 3-4 years of having them (I paid £7.99 each for the first ones I bought!!)
And to those saying they are too dim, unless you actually have these bulbs you should reserve judgement - when I first bought these, they replaced some standard halogen GU10's and you couldn't tell any difference, these are just as bright.

I second that. I have similar Philips 3.5W with the same 250 lumen output as these, and you simply cannot tell the difference between the new LED spots and the 50W guzzlers that were in my fittings originally.
