Good price but worry these are bright enough. I bought the 6 x 5W lamps from Wickes for £14.94 and that are great. Voted hot anyway.

Stupa. 4w 250lm is too dim and you need at least 5w with 300+ lumen for good lighting in the home.

lol you dont, all depends on set-up, location, how many light fittings you have in a room..... these are definitely super keenly priced at under £2 a bulb!

Got 6 for £5 in the asda clearance, 6w 380 lumens - nice and bright - to replace the (claimed 250 odd lumen) fleabay ones which were pants. Save your money

I bought 6 of these for the same price a couple of months ago, work spot on as replacement spots in our kitchen.

I have these in my hall, landing and my sons bedroom and can confirm they are plenty bright enough, and nice and yellow.
Super bulbs, and no issues in 3-4 years of having them (I paid £7.99 each for the first ones I bought!!)
And to those saying they are too dim, unless you actually have these bulbs you should reserve judgement - when I first bought these, they replaced some standard halogen GU10's and you couldn't tell any difference, these are just as bright.

I second that. I have similar Philips 3.5W with the same 250 lumen output as these, and you simply cannot tell the difference between the new LED spots and the 50W guzzlers that were in my fittings originally.

I also have these bought at 28 quid annoyingly.... and can confirm that they are very bright. We actually worried at first whether they were too bright...

homebase had these on recently in a 2 pack for £2.99 - so if you have a homebase near and you're going anyway - might be worth having a look.
That said - if you're not going - £17.99 for 10 including c&c is a good price. Just make sure that you actually need them all - they're "supposed" to have a 25year lifecycle...so if you don't need them all, bit of a false economy

Ordered these last week when they were £13.99 and they arrived just a couple of hours ago.
Liked them so much that I just ordered another box (of 10) a few minutes ago.
In terms of brightness, they are noticeably brighter than the 35W bulbs they are replacing. Not sure that they're quite 50W but not far off. They have a diffuser too which I quite like.
these are fantastic bulbs (happily paid full price) they are very bright - no complaints

The ones I bought were the 5w LAP ones and gives good light. They are £19.99 for 5 though. Have a look at the front surface of them, in my opinion that one appears better when they are turned off (hence the higher price i suppose). But they are so bright when they are on you won't be able to look at them directly, so probably won't be much different then. I don't like 4 spots at the front of the ones on sale as in this post. But a good deal on the price.
The 5w ones I have are very bright and I have 8 of them on most of the day (and night), and don't feel guilty as all 8 use the same as one 40w light bulb. Crazy, I still have many 40w ones in my chandelier, but need nice dimmable LED lights for those.

3 year warranty and having a screwfix nearby is reassuring instead of other online better deals on the price alone

last year I bought two of the Lap led, gu10, 4w warm white 281lumen 6packs. so far I have had to return 10 of them within the year. screwfix will replace within 12months of purchase but after that you will need to contact Lap. the box states they will last 25yrs if used on average 2.7hrs per day. well my two boxes have not lasted a year!

Exact same spec at these ones which I have all over the home, same bulb different branding.
Regardless of all the comments about lumens, I find these a perfect substitute for the old GU10 bulbs. I guess it depends how many lamp holders you have in your ceiling. Ours are pretty high density so there is more than enough light from these 4W models, in fact in some rooms we went with the dimmer 3W model.

not too dim at all. I've got 12x 3w in my lounge and kitchen and 7x 3.3w in my hall way and they are not small rooms
