How is the backlight on this? I have heard there are some problems. Also what is this tablet like for watching video, do you get massive black vertical borders?

Sorry Robert, didnt actually buy this tablet. Saw it on the argos-ebay deal thread at the same price as this so took the photo to add to the argos-ebay thread, then decided to make my own deal as someone didnt beleive me .....
Watched a video on it in store and it was very good, screen looked really crisp. JL will always take it back if your not happy.

There was some fairly bad light bleed in initial batches. I would hope it has improved by now. If it is present you can return it as it is not in good condition.
As for video you get horizontal bars, as on the iPad, as it is the same screen ratio. It's not terrible seeing as the tablet bezels are fairly small anyway.
