Just called the call centre and given her the product code and she has told me what stock is available at the three stores that have them. They are calling me back within an hour to order over the phone. There is around 10 available in the UK today.

I phoned Cheadle and Trafford Centre branches and they didn't have any in stock, however, when I spoke the the assistant at the Trafford Centre he found stock in "Peter Jones" in Sloan Square. They took my details and someone from Peter Jones called me back about an hour and a half later, took payment and will deliver it for free as it is over £50.

I can confirm as well that the white one is £159 and the black is £189

Thank you for finding this deal, I managed to get one of the two that were available from John Lewis in Solihull at around 4.30pm today, so should be one available for someone tomorrow too...

Long story, I was in Birmingham City Centre today and thought would try my luck in that branch, but did not have 16GB on sale and the 32GB with 4G capability was £399! However they had a look on the system and I could see all the John Lewis branches in the "Midlands" with them in stock.

At around 4pm today all the below branches were showing them in stock, when I overlooked on the screen, but was just one at each branch:

Leicester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, High Wycombe and Welwyn.

Even though the branch advised they had two in stock, they were hiding out the back and need to go to the electrical department and specifically ask them for it. It was fully sealed and not a display model. They also were advertising the deal next to a demo model, and it clearly stated the white 16GB model was on offer until the 13th November, so they might be getting more in. The black version was selling for £189.

Ordered 2 from Liverpool for home delivery (xmas presents). They had 9 in London so there is stock and you can call and reserve for home delivery. No charge was made for delivery. So happy days!

Thanks for posting the deal. Ideal tablets for the kids. Yes the storage is a bit light but you can buy something like the sandisk ultra twin usb for 64GB storage for £15. Small enough to slot in and not be a pain while watching videos etc.

They still have some in stock in Solihull, just called the store and ordered mine for home delivery. Job done

The price showing was £159, but when it was for payment show £189 and after the price was reduced for £159.

This is just my luck, was in Ashford Friday, near my 'home' Solihull store Saturday morning, drove past Cribbs Causeway Saturday afternoon. Now stuck in Cornwall all week...:disappointed:

Yeah sorry for misinformation, I thought Cribbs were the only store with the deal and I physically went there and they were gone. Great if they're elsewhere though. Good job I couldn't figure out how to expire a deal on the HUKD app!

Both Welwyn garden city and cribs causeway were oos this afternoon but but both solihull and Brent cross had stock prices at £159.

Brent cross just reserved one for pick up.

Just checked John Lewis. all sold out!

Thanks for heads up OP. Just had a call from Cribbs after requesting a call back and there's none in stock anymore it would seem (although he claimed its unlikely there ever was so he could be wrong)

Called John Lewis Cardiff and they stated that Cribbs were selling off about 5 at that price and no other store was doing it. Voted cold.

Solihull confirmed had 1 black and 4 white models at 12.30 pm.

Been in to Birmingham store, there's a sign displaying £140 off for 16gb version but no stock
