Should be able to, and if you use a non data enabled phone you may be able to sent the STOP PACK to 150 before the first pack is used so get all £5 credit from it. Sometimes work sometimes not.
Remember also for a 35p text you can get a power bar when they resume that service...

Yes via carrier billing. You can also use the credit to support a charity.
