i've been reading up on the dyson handhelds a bit recently cuz i'd like a smaller one & this one only runs for 6 mins and is meant for spot cleaning-personally i'd rather pay the extra £70 to get 15/20 mins use. just a warning to anyone excleaning it to be a 'proper' dyson!

I think a leaf blower would be a more appropriate size for apples.

I disagree with the haters. If you want a hand held vacuum, this is fine. Suction is what you would expect from a Dyson. It only lasts 6 minutes but if you're only picking little bits up or doing the car this is ideal. It's not a vacuum for doing all the house.

By the time you bought the wand you may as well of bought a dyson refurbished dc35 off eBay for about £140.

Yes you can buy them from any Dyson spares store. Also you can pick up the wall mount too...

Yes you can but be aware, the wand version is a different machine, these aren't the versions that can be used as a portable upright, if thats what you mean. Those ones (typically £250 ish), use the same chassis, have a different, more powerful motor.

No, it doesn't have the power connection for the brushes, it's a handheld only cleaner.

That's only with a new battery. A year on and ours fades just a minute from freshly charged. Genuine replacement batteries are £55 or £40 for clones. :disappointed:

No wand fits this model and it is very old technology now,Dc35 would be a better buy.
