nah my seasons best is mid 800g's,its quite difficult to hang around that aisle fisting a cup of sweets to within an inch of its life without the staff looking disgusted with you!

I wouldn't touch pic n mix. I've seen toddlers get sweets out then their mums tell them to put them back. Prob just been picking their bum first too :-(

If you want to save even more bring a mallet like I do and smash the sweets on the checkout counter. Don't go to the Birmingham wilko though the staff are extremely rude and impolite, apparently trying to be savvy with my money means I have to leave the store. For some reason using a mallet is unacceptable behaviour, I just think the fat lady at the checkout was jealous i got 4000 marshmallows in one cup.

If you layer the sweets with some strategic planning and a little brute force you can get a lot into the cups.

Probably wouldn't go that far ha ha but yeah the candy king pick n mix is nice. May I recommend the jelly beans with a side serving of wine gums and strawberries?

Most yes, Asda has done better, most don't have gelatine. Wilko bomboms have gelatine and most other. Like someone else said fill it up with Easter eggs

Don't put many of them in, take up too much space and weigh a lot. I usually do 1 fudge, 3 snakes and a few others like white choc and jelly beans

Here's a hint - the bags work out cheaper than filling up a cup. Fill up a cup then empty it into a bag and weight it and enjoy the savings.

Or weigh the full cup and subtract weight of empty cup then only empty cup if it works out cheaper otherwise if it didn't you'd have to pack it all back into the cup.
