Netflix has a sharp appearance but it doesn't have the fine detail of a Blu-ray, the compression is too high.

Of course not. But you really do need to watch it! Imo the best TV series of all time...

I did watch this on Netflix last year but wanted to watch again, is there much of a difference in picture quality between Netflix and bluray?

Can't speak for BB but I've found both Prime and Netflix stream pretty well compared to physical HD releases. BB looked great on Netflix when I watched it.
Not quite the best show (Sopranos still edges it for me) but essential viewing.

In HD no, in 4k absolutely.

You can get it for free if you have Kodi...I haven't got around to watching it yet but there's a pretty good 720P stream on there.

I never have but according to the text at the bottom of the site they are part of Universal pictures and CBS so if that's true they should be fine.

"4K" ( you forgot the quotes). And Blu-ray beats that "4K" every time not to mention the sound and extras of course.

I know I'm a minority who think this, but I really didn't think Sopranos was that great  I so wanted to love it too :disappointed:
For me Breaking Bad is (so far) the best TV show I've ever seen. There wasn't many episodes I watched where I didn't want to start watching the next one straight away, I never really got that with Sopranos.
I loved Dexter too...Yeah I'm going well off subject here. Heat added!
