Come on cold voters, tell us all why this is a bad deal. You obviously know where the better deals are at so spill.

on the same note, have any of the hot voters used one of these over a period of time to be able to say it's worth the money?
or are they voting solely on the price?

Yeah, I got the cold voting snotty t*rds when I posted the socket set from Lidl on the same Lidl selection. Far better than I thought it would be too. Same will apply to this. The cold voters must be having their nappies changed by their girlfriends as it's gone hot.......

People vote on price for the product.
Also its nothing to do with the equipment if it lasts or not. Its the user whether they use it correctly and what their expectations are not the limitations of the product. Ie lack of common sense.

Funnily enough, got one yesterday. Works well, speed is adjustable, everything seems well built and working well so far. Have done straight cuts and angled cuts to shave off a triangular piece, all good. Comes with three standard wood blades and one metal blade.

Our current jigsaw doesn't engage withe blade anymore, so we've been searching all weekend for a casual DIY jigsaw, it's between this and an Argos one, can't see anything else for under twenty with warranty!

I got one of these last time they did them. They are very good for the money, the only problem I have found is the laser line is about as accurate as a blind man playing darts, so be careful when using that for the first time Although it might just be my one.

I've yet to find a tool fitted laser line that actually works! Although with jigsaws I do find if you apply too much pressure the blade twists and goes off line. If you let the blade do the cutting then it's better (but obviously much slower). Good quality blades also helps.
This is a good price for a pendulum jigsaw though.
