That is just so wrong - everyone knows you've got to give each one a lick to find the best ones.

are u kidding me? The bakery products tastes like actual bread it was supposed to be not a sponge you get in others, The Lidl infact has probably the best in-store bakery products from all shops out there, Maybe If you have lived in UK for whole life and have used to this Junk Crap every store is selling you just think its normal! but when you come from different place, there's simply no competition.
Glad there is Lidl in this country because all of the other stores just sell total untasty Junk food!

Is this in their bakery section where you help yourself?
I was in there a few weeks ago & saw two men touching/squeezing the produce before buying anything and then they didn't buy the things they had their hands all over, that's why I avoid these things, people are vile

Thats disgusting! People need to be a bit more considerate towards others. I'm not judging their hygiene as I don't know whether their hands were clean or not but to be honest it doesn't matter. You shouldn't touch them unless you've paid for them. It's as simple as that.

Thats why I don't buy from the bakery. Esp as many of my local Lidl customers are on the filthy side!

It's the only reasonI go to Lidl and I have all the big chains near me too.
The one near me is actually fresh baked in store instead of fresh baked off-site, frozen, sent to store and then defrosted like the big chains.
