You will be flying into New York JFK airport which has excellent links to the city so you don't have to worry about getting lost on the way to the hotel!
New York is a city on everyone's bucket list and is definitely worth visiting. With so many things to see and do don't forget you can amend your trip to go for longer, Norwegian offer so many dates throughout early 2016 so dates can be pretty flexible!
New York is rather chilly in February so don't forget to take lots of warm clothes as you'll be site seeing and the days will be long.
The hotel is situated on Manhattan Island so you are within distance of many of the main attractions. There are many other cheaper hotels to stay in if you would like to keep the cost down, there are tons of hostels to choose from or hotels with shared bathrooms if you don't mind staying with limited facilities. Another way to keep the cost down is not to stay on Manhattan island itself however it's always nice to be close to everything! The hotel has good reviews on tripadvisor with an average score of 4/5.
If you want to fly from another UK airport it will cost quite a bit extra as Norwegian only fly direct to New York from Gatwick!
Norwegian offer 10kg hand luggage and a handbag which personally for me is a decent amount however many people who go to New York go to shop if this is the case it will be worth adding a bag which will bump the cost up of around £50 return so I suggest always try to take hand luggage only!

This is pretty misleading... If you include checked luggage, seat reservations and a meal then the price rockets up - flights alone for this cheap period aren't much less than £400 per person, which is about £50 more than you can find on Sky Scanner. Cold.

How is the deal misleading? They state it's extra for luggage and having a meal and reserving a seat is a personal choice and one that I never take up. So why should the deal include all your criteria and not someone's the same as mine?

Many times, one of the (if not THE) best budget airlines. Wifi is available on the anglo-scandic routes, not sure about elsewhere.

This is a fairly standard price, I'd say. 298 for a Norweigan flight from LON to NYC is actually more than the usual 'deal' prices (more like 250), so I'd imagine there's better deals to be had..

The flights only £271 not £298 and the only other flight cheaper on there at the moment is £269 return, this flights direct, I can assure you there's no cheaper direct flights out of London at this moment in time!
