Just visited my local sainsbury's for a parcel drop off for myhermes, which they only recently have launched and not much publicised for some reason.
As I wasnt spending anything - and only just dropping off the parcel, I did not hand my nectar card but to my surprise advisor asked me for the nectar as apparently each parcel drop off earns you 25 bonus point.
I tried finding on internet everywhere, cant find any news on it either on nectarcard website or on myhermes, so thought I will share here. Apologies if this has been duplicated.
So coming up to christmas if you are happen to use myhermes and dropping off at sainsbury's it might be worth handling the nectarcard out.

I personally prefer ordering my staff from Amazon. The returns process is great if they arrive and turn out to be lazy gits.

I use MyHermes alot so will ask my local Sainsburys although i didn't know they did a drop off service, thanks for the heads up  I usually use "One Stop" but will use Sainsburys if they do Nectar even though they are a bit further. I use my Nectar on Ebay so they all count. Thanks again.

Do not use Hermes! Just ordered some staff from Debenhams and they delivered it to someone else while our postcode is unique, just for our building and we live at number 10 and they delivered at number 34!!!! I needed to go and collect it as a lady called me who took it. Thanks God there was a phone number on the label

Must be a security issue as they wouldn't allow any "staff" to be delivered to 10 Downing Street

Rubbish company can't believe they keep going, it's often a deal breaker for me, if I'm interested in buying something and they say they use MyHermes I walk away.

I've not had a problem with Hermes yet. I've sent over 100 parcels with them over the last 4 months. I've had two parcels sent via royal mail that have gone missing . It all depends on the individual actually delivering the item. There are useless idiots working for everyone.

I meant it's usually people claiming they haven't arrived

Brilliant, wonder if it's 25 points per day or possible to drop off parcels individually to rack up the points. Not had any problems with Myhermes either.
